For decades, producing food with quality, speed and traceability was reserved for those who owned factories and large industrial operations.

In 1997, Henrik Stamm Kristensen founded Premium Ingredients in Spain with a different focus: enabling food products to be developed, validated and produced with full control, without requiring ownership of manufacturing assets.

This marked the beginning of more than 20 years of continuous execution  evolving how food products are formulated, validated and brought to market.

1997

The PPB (Portable Powder Blending) concept is developed: a modular production solution enabling controlled food manufacturing without fixed facilities.

2010

First validated production operation in India: certified local manufacturing enabled through external facilities, without owning factories.

2011

Development of collaborative platforms connecting formulation expertise, validation capabilities and production know-how to accelerate product execution.

2012-2016

#CloudBlending is launched: the consolidation of Blendhub’s Food-as-a-Service execution model, connecting formulation, validation and certified production.

2023

Blendhub consolidates a Food-as-a-Service approach where food products no longer require ownership of factories to reach the market.

What began as an ingredients company has evolved into an execution model combining formulation expertise, validated production and digital control — enabling ideas to become certified food products in less than 90 days.
